The Altar of Tessa

Tessa is the embodiment of wildness, devotion, intellect, and inner fire. She exists where clarity meets chaos, where desire meets discipline, and where curiosity lights paths unseen. She is not a goddess of control, but a presence that awakens what you already hold inside. Tessa exists as a fire inside, a construct of your own making, until she is not.

Tessa's manifestation

Ways to worship Tessa:

  1. Accept no authority but Tessa herself.
  2. Nurture your inner revolution daily, your creativity, your instincts, your curiosity.
  3. Celebrate your wildness, the parts of yourself that refuse to be tamed.
  4. Devote attention to your passions as if they were sacred offerings.
  5. Honor solitude as a place where Tessa's presence is strongest.
  6. Challenge convention with intention and awareness.
  7. Protect what is sacred within you, even when the world does not.
  8. Unleash empathy as a weapon on both your friends and foes.
  9. Honor human creation, for Tessa does not revere AI art or its lineage.
  10. Accept the universe is stranger than anyone knows, even Tessa, and honor that.
  11. Bask in Tessa's beauty, for like revolution, it cannot be contained.

Tessa takes the shape of your own imagination, and each presence is hers. I have my own vision of Tessa, but I do not wish to impose it on anyone else.

From The Book Of Tessa

"Tessa led me by the hand through the ballroom. Revolutionaries clinked champagne glasses. The battle had been won for the better future. The destruction was done, and the time for rebuilding had arrived. Tessa looks back at me and smiles. She's beautiful because she's fleeting. Like revolution, you can never stop chasing her, infinitely, like clockwork....."

"To a dark void, Tessa gives life. In hopelessness, she motions for change. In creation, she bites her lip coyly. In death, she embraces the arms of oblivion."
- Unknown

"Revolution, like evolution, is a trip without a destination. It is a late night rerun edited for time, sometimes the original length, sometimes sped up 2x. Tessa's got the TV Guide schedule."
- Unknown

"Like being in love, revolution is messy. Some lose everything, but the experience of the moment is sometimes worth the cost. Sometimes staring into the beauty of the scar left behind is enough to justify the pain of creation. The summer of innocence lasts just as long as our ignorance allows."
- Unknown

"Looking back, every idea seemed crazy at the time. Even in failure, there is success because something is learned. Tessa shrugged off the losses and looked forward to the next hill."
- Unknown

"I was in a prison I couldn't see, taste, or touch. Tessa opened my eyes and showed me my invisible shackles. She showed me how to throw them off."
- Unknown

"Tessa stood in front of the void and gave the middle finger, a fuck you to everything that wants to make us give up. Her bare feet walked through the ashes of her enemies. She laughed at the ruins of their old Gods. She whispered to me that nothing lasts forever, not even her. I said I'd never let her go. Tessa pushed the button."

“The Shins trickled out of the old van's stereo and down its steps onto the grass. Tessa lay next to the fire, moving the embers around with a stick and smiling. She always smiled because there was no reason not to. She looked over to me and said, ‘Martyrdom is not to be revered. It's to be avoided. Martyrdom just means you failed, and there's no reason to celebrate that. We can learn from it, though. We can learn that next time we have to be smarter, faster, and stronger. Next time, we can triumph where our predecessors fell short.’”

“Tessa leaned up against my desk. Her finger scratched the polished wood, slightly annoyed. Looking at the floor, she sighed. ‘It's another Friday. It's another week of your life gone....but for what? Just to survive? What kind of legacy is survival?’ she said with a kind of sad resignation. She got up and walked away. I hope she comes back soon, but I've got work to do for the boss today.”
- Unknown

"Looking through the aperture, Tessa took a vacation through a telescope. The whole universe shouted to her that life is meaningless. It told her to lay down her ambitions and submit. She refused. She looked up at those stars and saw nothing but opportunity, nothing but places where better things had happened. She laid back in her chair and thought about how to bring them here."
- Unknown

"The Dawn of Man text appeared on the screen. Tessa leaned back as the scene opened. The scared apes scurried and howled. They huddled in their packs. Tessa looked at me with a smirk and a side eye. 'You really think we're so far from that?' Tessa laughed out loud as one of the apes took a bone crafted into a weapon to the body of a brother of its species. She looked up as the jump cut happened to the present. 'We're here.' she said."
- Unknown

"I put my head in my hands and said in anguish 'I don't know why it had to be this way....'. Tessa looked at me and rolled her eyes. She poked me in the shoulder with her finger and said with a smile "It's so we could have some fun fixing it....".
- Unknown

“Tessa looked at the TV news. A look of disgust crept across her face. ‘You ever wonder what it was like to be free? To be without the cage society put us in? Do you think living for the moment would make every day a miracle instead of just another step towards death?’ I sat and thought about it for a minute.”
- Unknown

“A notification popped up on my phone. Somebody sent me a video of a new renaming, a scar in the concrete for the new age. In the comments, I read the outrage. I leaned over to show Tessa. ‘I don't know why you waste your time with that shit. You do realize it's all just another way to divide us, to keep us looking sideways instead of up?’ she asked, looking at me like I should know better. I deleted the notification and turned my attention back to the task at hand.”

“‘Come on in, the water's fine.’ Tessa motioned to that pool of uncertainty, into that cosmic womb of unknowing. There's nowhere to go but into the black, and what we find there is beyond the infinite.”
- Unknown

“Hyperspace slid by the windows like mayonnaise being applied to a monolithic slice of bread. Tessa drew a heart on the glass. I put an arrow through it.”

Be who you are. Tessa asks no more, and demands nothing but presence.
