All Seeing Eye

In The Lord of the Rings, a Palantír (plural: Palantíri) is a magical seeing-stone, essentially a crystal ball, that allows users to communicate with each other and see events over vast distances. Recently, it was announced that the company Palantir had secured the rights to create a database of the personal information of every US citizen.

Sure, everyone who knows already realizes that the government is tracking every piece of data and audio that runs through the internet, including this. You’re asking yourself then, what is the point of this new database?

Well, money is the first thing that comes to mind. Massive amounts of government money will be given to Palantir to create this database. Money is always at the top.

Secondly, it’s something even more sinister. This database won’t be concerned with conservatives. Conservatives aren’t really the kind to rock the boat unless it’s about boycotting Bud Light because they saw a trans person holding it. It’s not about liberals either. Liberals are a paper tiger. They may talk a big game, but in the end, they still love capitalism and they’re not a threat to the status quo.

The Palantir database project will be searching for people that are a threat to the powers that be, leftists. They may say Democrats and liberals are “The Left,” but let’s be real, the left starts at anti-capitalism. Liberals will side with fascism in order to preserve capitalism. They always have. This database will be used to purge and imprison the people thinking outside the box, looking for a better future.

Individuality is a crime.

God Shaped Hole

There’s an episode of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia where Dennis talks about something he calls a “God shaped hole.” He said most people fill it with religion. He doesn’t believe in God, so he fills it with… something else.

He’s right. I feel that God shaped hole every day of my life.

Man, it’d be so much easier to just stuff something in there, even if I couldn’t ever bring myself to truly believe it.

I thought making music would fill it. And for a while, it did.

I thought communism could lead me to truth. And it did. But at the cost of lifting the curtain and letting me see the horrid reality of our lives.

I thought creating the Shock the System site would fill it. And it did. For a couple of days, before I realized how much of myself was being wasted on something no one cares about.

That’s not me saying “pity me.” Those are just facts.

Writing these is how I’m currently trying to fill that hole.

I know it’s not gonna work out.

What’s next for me after this?

I honestly don’t know.

I should probably give up and stare into that dark void inside of me.
I know I’ll only see myself reflecting back.
