Since our ancestors first harnessed the power of tools, we have been using them for warfare. We have been using them to kill one another for pieces of land. We've been using them to kill one another for resources. We've been using them to kill one another for things we want. Technology isn't even funded anymore unless it is seen as fruitful to the military and business classes. That's not a new thing. That's how it's always been. Now we are at the dawn of artificial intelligence, and it's already being prepped to use in war against our owners' enemies. What could be used to bring the world together is always used to tear it apart. There's nothing the people who run the world love more than an divided populace. We could be getting ready to be done with working, but instead we're all worried that artificial intelligence is going to take our jobs. We are afraid because we know our masters will never let us take it easy. If we took it easy, we might just take what they have for ourselves. It would be us taking back what was rightfully ours to begin with. A person with no work to do has time to begin doing the most dangerous thing there possibly is to do, think.
